The Hyde Leadership Public Charter School in Washington has the country’s first all African-American high school rugby team. This team proves the notion that the Rugby community is a unique group of individuals (and a group of unique individuals) who dare to try something different.

Los Alamos RFC came from New Mexico to capture third place in the Colorado Youth Rugby’s 2008 High School Girls Rugby Championships.
The team was also presented the 2008 CYR Team Sportsmanship Award!
